- To improve our platform: Analyze usage patterns, troubleshoot issues, and enhance user experience.
- To communicate with you: Send transaction updates, notifications, customer support responses, and promotional messages (with your consent).
- To resolve disputes: Review evidence and mediate conflicts between buyers and sellers.
- To comply with legal obligations: Meet regulatory requirements and respond to lawful requests from authorities.

3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. However, we may share your data in the following circumstances:
- With transaction counterparties: Buyers and sellers can see each other's names and phone numbers to facilitate communication and delivery.

4. Data Security
We take data security seriously and implement industry-standard measures to protect your information:
- Encryption: All sensitive data (including payment information) is encrypted in transit and at rest using SSL/TLS protocols.
- Secure servers: Our infrastructure is hosted on secure, regularly audited servers.
- Access controls: Only authorized personnel can access user data, and all access is logged and monitored.
- Regular security audits: We conduct periodic security assessments to identify and address vulnerabilities.
- Hardware-backed device storage: On your mobile device, all authentication credentials and sensitive personal data are stored exclusively in hardware-backed secure storage (iOS Keychain on Apple devices, Android Keystore on Android devices). These systems use device-level hardware keys to encrypt your data, making it inaccessible to other apps and to PaySafer without your explicit authentication.
While we use reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations:
